FLORENCE, Colo. (AP) - The owner of a southern Colorado bowling alley has died after getting stuck in a pin setting machine.

Police in Florence, about 100 miles (160 kilometers) southwest of Denver, say they responded to a call early Sunday afternoon and found 65-year-old Ector Rodriguez of Penrose stuck in the machine at Fremont Lanes. He was unconscious and not breathing.

Emergency responders determined he had died.

Florence Police Chief Michael De Laurentis says no foul play is suspected and the death is believed to be an accident.

We need to examine this tragedy, to see what precautions could have spared his life...

Sounds like an accurate determination. All that schooling paid off.

saw something like this on dirty jobs where the guy said he doesnt always turn off the machine to unstick it if it jams.

mike rowe even said "where should i send the flowers?" and the guy joked that if you pay attention and move fast its not a problem i guess this guy felt the same way about not taking the time to just shut the power off to it

Making fun of someone that lost their life is real mature.

The guy was a son, a brother, a father, and a husband.

You people should grow up.
