It’s part of the test. If you’re too much of a pussy to just drink it, you are more likely to have accumulated so much colon damage from foreign objects that very few doctors can actually help you deal with your more serious problems.
Tldr version: just nut up and drink it. It’s over and you’re still complaining. I’ve seen tampons that bleed less than your vagina. Stop whining bitch.

How is it we can put a man on the moon in the 1960's (allegedly) but we can't detect colon cancer without sticking a camera up the anus and inspecting? All the fancy radiology and imaging we have nowadays, it just doesn't make sense to me. If the radiology shows something suspicious, or there are other symptoms, then stick the camera up the a-hole. But that shouldn't be the primary screening method.
But I'm not a doctor so my opinion is worthless I guess.
PS- same for Prostate exam. Not just a camera, but a lubed up human hand fisted right up the a-hole.

Fingers are smaller and the whole process is over too quickly.
Hopefully they won't need to do a prostate biopsy. You REALLY aren't going to like that.

I had trouble with it years ago, and a nurse told me about Phospho Soda. You get it a drug stores. It still cleans you out, but takes longer and isn't as harsh.

I expected the worst....and got 10 times the worst. One of the most awful experiences ever. And I'm not a candy-arse about medical stuff. But that liquid was hideous.

I had no issues with the taste of the liquid mixture. The forced emptying of my digestive tract of everything except clear liquid was another matter.
