I’m keeping a updated spreadsheet from the data that was presented in another thread.
Broome squashed the data feed that was the most reliable because she doesn’t want to have the general public believe there’s a violent crime problem under her watch.
Spotcrime is too inconsistent and not ran in real time to be a reliable resource.

We had a BRPD cop on here that used to give us the real numbers. He left the force I think though. I'd never ask anyone else to do that because I don't want them to get in trouble but it isn't exactly easy data to lookup it seems, most likely on purpose.

Yea that wouldn’t surprise me. Some crimes can be reported as lesser crimes which helps skew the numbers. Can’t report a murder as not, so they just don’t release the numbers.

Ibrie Combs (toddler) was killed September 3, 2020.
Azariah Thomas (toddler) was killed October 14, 2020.
You may not hear there names often because their deaths can’t be exploited like Alton Sterlings, but many of us on the job never forget them.
I will add today’s victims to the list tomorrow.

I don't live in BR, so I don't know: How is Moore on charging and prosecuting crime?
Because that is where the problem lies. You can have tough laws, good cops, etc., but if the DA is not charging, it's irrelevant.
In Chicago, you have to be caught with a gun or committing a violent act about 5 times to see any real jail time. Sometimes more.

not that it matters, but after reading the article, looks like a stray bullet killed the child who was swimming
