One one hand you OT baws continuously espouse how inept, dysfunctional, incapable the government is...

Yet at the same time you continuously parrot how everything is some vast conspiracy to take away your possessions, your identify and your freedom...

How do you square in your mind that something that is so incapable of completing the most basic tasks is also the same forces that hold so much sway over your life, world and freedoms?

Answer: the government doesn’t run the country. Money runs the country. Money tell’s the inept Government what to do on matters of value. Where money doesn’t intercede, the government messes up.

Heard the same during the Bush administration. He was simultaneously a bumbling Texas hillbilly, but also an evil mastermind plotting to take over the world and exterminate gay people or something.

Dumbassery is not unique to our current time.

But if you think the government performs basic functions well, then you’ve likely never worked with a governmental entity in any capacity. They require 12 pieces of paper and 3 inspectors just to order a pizza for an intern’s birthday party.

Its generally believed those in power arent those elected.

Government isnt the problem, its the tool used by those in power.

Spying on Trump campaign
Russian collusion (created and funded by Clinton)
Who funded and released Covid
Covid lockdowns and “vaccine” mandates Suppressing dissent re: alternative Covid medication (muh horse dewormer)/the risk it posed to regular people
Dangers posed by the vaccine
The fact that the vaccine didn’t stop transmission
Hunter Biden laptop
Ukraine/Biden connection
Government/FBI forcing tech platforms to censor American citizens
US blew up Nordstream pipeline

Those were all conspiracies until proven true

So you think incompetence and malice are mutually exclusive?

I’m sure the obvious has been pointed out above: gov is so busy overreaching and implementing utopian systems that it neglects the basic purposes for which it was legitimately designed and established.

Next.

You think as a child thinks. The State is inept and it is inefficient and it is full of bad actors who wield their power in scary and arbitrary ways. There are also those within The State who do not respect the Constitutional rights of American citizens. You need to familiarize yourself with human nature, the history of bureaucracies and learn about what happens when The State or any bureaucrat within, decides it can pick winners and losers. Here’s a hint;it’s not a conspiracy, it’s our current reality.

Being Dysfunctional and inept is not mutually exclusive from being diabolical. Especially if the ineptitude and dysfunction are on purpose.

A government can be massive in size and scope and also filled with ineptness. Just by shear numbers of government bureaucrats and employees, there are some individuals within government that are intelligent. Intelligence doesn't prevent one from seeking out evil for personal gain.

On the flip side, do you believe the government is telling you the truth and not abusing it's power? How can you square in your mind that greed and the lust for power has corrupted many in government in every nation in the world, yet 2024 America it just isn't happening?

No I don't.

Also, no.

The technocratic push is real. A simple reading of recent headlines is proof of that, but I think most 'leaders' are just crooks running their money scams. It makes the outside infiltrations and other things a lot more prolific, but it all comes down to classic crooked money scams.

This. In a system where ineptness runs rampant, and bureaucracy grows beyond control, those who are intelligent and have sinister or simply selfish purposes thrive.

The Soviet Union became stupefyingly bureaucratic even as its KGB ran circles around Western intelligence agencies during the Cold War. Even then, the KGB itself was so bureaucratic that it took years to arrest one of their own KGB generals and execute him even though they knew he was a western spy, all over a technicality in their rules.

This is the biggest problem we have today. All you experts read headlines (from opinion based entertainers) and think you are educated and informed of actual matters.

The NYT just confirmed the CIA has been running Ukraine for a decade.

Because government representatives, in their very ineptitude, are being used as tools by those much more intelligent than they and in doing so, have left its citizens vulnerable to malfeasance.

Whisper "open borders makes you a good person and Orange Man is very bad" and our representatives will open the door wide for others to bring in drugs, human traffickers and terrorists.

So actually, no dissonance in my logic.

No, dude. I'm talking about factual stories, like AI, cameras everywhere, the nature of phones and other devices, etc.

I don't have to be an expert. Technocratic domination is real. Go hide under a rock if you like.
