Hanlon's Razor:

Never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity.

Are you really unaware of what sort of havoc ineptness coupled with power and will can wreak?

Just think about those Mujahdeen we armed in Afghanistan.

Just think about the money sent to Iran.

Thing about "the Great Society".

So kind of how blumpf is a retard but also a billionaire and also colluded with Russia to install him as president with the entire American government against him.

Oh and on top of all that mounted the most deadly insurrection known to man and the darkest day in our history.

One orange retard took down the American government.

This thread needs more buzzwords than cognitive dissonance. I suggest confirmation bias, backfire effect, and strawman.

One one hand you OT baws continuously espouse how inept, dysfunctional, incapable the government is...

Yet at the same time you continuously parrot how everything is some vast conspiracy to take away your possessions, your identify and your freedom...

How do you square in your mind that something that is so incapable of completing the most basic tasks is also the same forces that hold so much sway over your life, world and freedoms?

I had a boss who would simultaneously accuse me of fricking everything up on a job while doing absolutely nothing all day on the job...I could never convince him that it wasn't possible for me to simultaneously do nothing AND frick everything up...but Daddy was mean that way...

The conspiracy theories that so many want to believe in would take a brain trust the likes of which have never existed in the history of mankind. What does exist is greed and lobbying....all based on money and power. Even at that they are as transparent as ice water. If they were smart enough to pull off the shite they are accused of they would be exactly the kind of leaders needed in the world...they ain't on either score.

I know people who will get fighting mad if you suggest you find it hard to believe that Bill and Hillary Clinton killed an entire town of people in Arkansas without a spec of evidence. They didn't, by the way, because neither one is a criminal mastermind from a fricking James Bond movie. Had they done so, though, first off there would be no point in resisting, they'd outsmart anyone, and second if they were capable of doing it they would be the best choice for a world leader ever....

You don't need a conspiracy when interests align.
