Everyone needs to stop drinking this stuff. I've cut myself down to one can per day and zero on the weekends. Hopefully I can cut it to zero cans each day. Drink water and coffee instead. I have a friend who drinks 6 diet cokes each day. He can't sleep at night.

This. I used to drink 1 a day. Still felt it was really bad for me. Since 2023 started, I’ve had a total of 2 cokes

so theoretically, Bud Light could still beat earnings if they just raise their prices high enough?

I've never had soda in my house, and that comes from growing up with a mom who never failed to have a 3 liter of Dr Pepper in the house at any time. It's ok in moderation, but once you start putting that on your grocery list...you've failed.

This.

It wouldn't be the worst thing in the world if poor people couldn't afford soda anymore. They're the most likely to be obese, anyhow.

I drink rum and diet caffeine free Coke.. I get the 2 liters and I only get them when they go on sale.. Most smaller grocery stores have them at 2 for $4.. The W.D./Rouses are crazy $2.79+.. W.D. will have a sale at buy 2 get 2 free.. I have switched to Chek.. when on sale is 2 for $2. They are on sale now at W.D. It works as a mixer.

That diet caffeine free Coke is very popular and they only keep a small amount in stock at most places. When it goes on sale it is sold out quickly..

I average probably a little over a 12 oz. can of Dr. Pepper a day. It is my vice. I hate every other soda, don't drink/smoke and limit sugar/calories from sweets but I can't quit the DP.

When are they going to put warning labels on soda like they have on cigarettes?

What are they going to label? Pretty sure they already have a nutrition facts label.

Not a huge fan of coffee, so used soda (primarily Coca Cola) to ease the caffeine cravings. I’m currently working myself off of them, but still have too many. It’s just too much damn sugar.

Grow a patch of mint. Buy Luzianne tea bags. Make iced tea with mint and a small amount of sweetner.
You get your caffeine and can control how strong you need it to be to wake up in the morning.

(For your potato fix, buy russet potatoes, slice into 6's, spray with olive oil and dust with seasoning of your choice. Bake in oven with dinner. )

Don't drink them often, but when I do it's for the sugar rush to get through that occasional lull around 2-3 in the afternoon and don't want to drink coffee that late in the afternoon.

I also like grabbing a coke with any seafood other than fish. No idea why, just one of those weird things for me

Prices are not coming down

Corporate profits are at an all time high nearly across the board

They know how high they can push prices and still have people shell out money for it

Hen did a bag of chips at the gas station jump to $2.49. Stopped to get gas on the way to the beach this past Friday. Thought I’d get a bag of lays or something. Couldn’t believe the bag said that much.

January 26th the went up.
We normally have 1 price increase every year late January and they’re normally about 10/20 cents across the board. But due to inflation, we had to increase prices 3 different times in the last year.

That is fricking outrageous for soda. No way it should be that high.

Guess that's what you vote for. Thaks Brandon.

I no longer drink diet coke at home, unless I am out somewhere and get one and have some remaining when I get home.

Walgreens will have them on sale for 3/16. Last year 3/11 was common and 4/12 was occasional.
