Wouldn't the rest of the CO2 need to be displaced? It's not like we could breathe a mixture with 80% CO2, even if the O2 concentration was sufficient.

Now we begin terra-forming other worlds. Soon we will attempt to dominate other worlds, until we are met with an enemy of equal power, at which point begins The War of the Worlds

Seems so. The NIOSH reports that CO2 concentrations above 40,000 parts per million are immediately dangerous to life and health.

The low concentration probably makes it more difficult to sequester CO2 and convert it to O2 on earth than Mars.
On Earth, instead of just planting devices similar to MOXIE in a random field somewhere, incorporate them into industrial operations processes where CO2 concentrations are much higher. Think "scrubbers."

Of course, this would add to construction, maintenance, and energy costs, but if something has to be done then it makes more sense to do something like this than rebuilding every structure known to man and some of the other asinine things that have been proposed.

This should be bigger news than it is. There is now oxygen on mars even if in minuscule amounts. The point being we have the technology to create a sealed and enclosed research colony that could support man. Think of a huge sealed dome that takes in CO2 and creates a stable oxygen atmosphere inside. Also could create water using similar techniques.

We should be dumping money into accomplishing such a feat rather than giving it to deadbeats so they don’t have to work. We need a new frontier. Honestly this world is going to shite and much like the frontier of the West in the 1800s the rugged individuals of the world today need a place to escape to and pursue wealth and new life. Space exploration will one day be that frontier

Not necessarily. I'd have to look up the processes they used, but converting CO2 to oxygen requires a lot of supplies that run out quickly.

Cool, the US and Canada can do it meanwhile China, Brazil, and India wouldn't do shite and it wouldn't matter.

Just power. No consumables in oxygen generation. The only fun step is separating carbon monoxide byproduct from oxygen without being wasteful.
