Fell asleep while driving. Awoke with a concussion (had my seatbelt on) and a totaled car.
I can't tell you how grateful I am that I didn't hit anyone else; don't know how I could live with myself if I had killed someone.
Needless to say, I don't drive while sleepy anymore.

I was asleep in a bed that was on fire as a child. My sister woke up our parents and told them it was foggy, when they pulled my covers back it flamed up pretty bad and burnt the bed up. I had pushed my electric blanket into a pile at the foot of the bed.
And then I jumped in a pool when I was real young at a friend's house and nearly drowned, too young to know how to swim yet.
I was nearly hit by a train in my car in Auburn trying to see if a train was coming. I had to put it in reverse at the last second and the train (running about 35 or 45 mph) missed me by about 2 feet. I shook on for about 10 minutes on that one.
Only job site stuff was when I was working next to a roadway and had the road lined with drums. I was in the hole right next to the road and heard a series of thuds, stood up to see what was going on and some a-hole was driving through with a pickup hitting all the drums intentionally and I went back into the hole as fast as I could and a drum took the hat off my head at about 55 mph. dumb luck on that one. if the guy had stopped he could say that would be the closest to death he would have ever come.

In college, I was in the drivers seat of a car as some friends and I were leaving a bar. Two 9mm bullets come thru the window, one hits my collarbone and the other goes thru the headrest and into the shoulder of a girl in the back seat. Ended up with a simple extraction and some stitches, but a few inches to the right and I could've been gone. It was cultcha statue related and we just happened to be caught in the crossfire.

My one and only incident was in Afghanistan. An RPG went about 20 ft over my head.
It has a distinct sound.

I was an idiot and tried to swim in the Pacific ocean off the coast of San Diego when there were warnings issued about the waves and wave height triggered from a storm 1000 miles away. I figured they put those warnings for the people who couldn't swim, so I went out and swam anyway because I wanted to body surf the waves. The waves were so powerful that they were beating me up and pushing my head into the sand and I couldn't gather myself in time before the next one did the same thing. A lifeguard got me because I could not stand in the water at that point. Very scary situation

Dove into a pool trying to land on this big float we had. Head landed between the float and the rope around it and I got my neck stuck in it after flailing around. Somehow ended up under the float and wasn't strong enough to lift it out of the water because I was in the deep end.
We had a guy painting the house who saw my legs under the float. He jumped in and saved my life.
ETA: I was 6 years old

I do not, but thanks for bringing this up. If someone kills you soon, I will have to act fast to get their address so I can send them gifts.

Might not seem that crazy to others, but it still sticks with me to this day...
When I was in undergrad, I was driving home from class one day. I was going down a somewhat isolated road at about 55 or 60 mph. The speed limit was 45.
I was 20 years old at the time, so I wasn't exactly a stickler for obeying speed limits. But for some inexplicable reason I have yet to figure out, I said to myself "hmmm, I should slow down." So I slowed down to 45.
A few moments after that, I rounded a slight curve that immediately preceded an intersection. As soon as I rounded the curve, I saw I had a green light and kept going.
Well, just a few split seconds before I went through the intersection, a car blatantly and completely ran the red light going probably 40 or 50 mph.
Had I not slowed down, there's a good chance that car would have slammed directly into my driver's side.

You're gonna have to explain yourself a little more on this one.
