Went to try and buy a new pair of pants today, all the dressing rooms in the stores are closed “due to COVID”. Why? What are people doing in there that makes the dressing room more dangerous than the store? Do the clothes get less infected if I take them home and try them on then return them?

Can someone offer a reason for this?

Yes. Stores don't want infected but non-symptomatic shoppers trying on clothes and then returning the clothes to the racks for someone else to contract your virus from.

Less shite for them to clean and deal with and they can get away with it due to da Rona.

Nothing to do with actual health, like most of This shite

It's probably along similar lines as fast food restaurants keeping their doors closed, despite the drive through being open.

The changing rooms are a liability in terms of cost (e.g., maintenance and losses due to theft), and COVID provides them with an opportunity to keep them closed, saving money.

this is one of those things where they did it in the beginning when people thought COVID could live on clothes, but now we know that isn't true, but stores still kept the policy because its less work for them

Assuming you’re a grown man, why are you trying on pants? You don’t know what size you are or have you just got lapband?

But they can pick up and put back all the food items they could possibly want.

Brilliant marketing, just like fast food joints still not having indoor seating. They have learned you can get plenty of sales, with less help by not having the dining room open.

Stores have learned you will buy the clothes without trying them on, then never return them.

Are you buying on familiar brands of pants on the regular? I’m not.

Biden will soon erase Covid and they’ll be back open. When they do, I’m only using the women’s dressing room so I can see them titties. Biden will allow it

You know every size doesn't fit the same, right? There are different brands and fits...
