I could beat Tyson, but could never beat Super Macho Man.

Never beat him in the 1980s. Finally won years later when I picked it up again.

Sandman was the hardest. Thanks to passwords I beat Macho Man and Tyson before I beat Sandman.

I could run through that game easily after I figured out how to beat each opponent.

Geez....I tried to play in on Switch (via the online sub) when we got that for my daughter last Christmas. I couldn't get past the minor circuit and I was like F This!!!

Game is optimized for the OG controller and the old TVs.

I can't get past Soda Popinski on an emulator/laptop.

Kids today will never know the pain of trying to figure these characters out

Kids these days are playing Dark Souls, a game in which the first enemy can destroy you and bosses require an incredible focus on movement and patter recognition.

I played it a ton after I got my kids a Switch. I quickly realized that my hand/finger/eye coordination and reaction times are nowhere near what they were when I was a kid.

These old school games are the only ones I’ll play with my son on his Switch. I kicked his butt in hockey. I let him have the Russians and I had the skinny American team. Wore him out. He destroys me in Super Smash Bros so I refuse to play it anymore.

I ended up beating him on the 2nd or 3rd try. It was the guy one or two boxers before Tyson that gave me so much trouble. Probably spent more time trying to figure out how to get past the guy in the turban that had the tiger than I did on any of them.

Are they playing with a Dpad controller and two buttons with the sensitivity of a potato?

I think sandman was harder than macho. You can see super macho’s special move coming. Sandman’s was too quick.

Tyson on NES punch out was easier than Cogneur on SNES’ best of the best. One of the few games I gave up.

Know a poster on here that spent many days and nights playing Mike Tyson's punchout. I remember the day Tyson fell. Never forget

back in the 80's we were crying, screaming, and pleading with our parents to buy the latest issue of Nintendo Power so we could figure this shite out

Sodapopinski was my own, private Vietnam.
