Pretty typical Tex mex but they did not shy away from the spicyness which was nice. Salsa had a real good kick to it and the food was well seasoned. Will go back and wrong board

yes...BIG portions, average Tex mex fare, loud/bright atmosphere, all in all .."ok" but I prefer tradition Mexican to Tex Mex.

Like the one in Austin when Jenna Bush got an MIP?

Like the one in Austin or one in Bakersfield? The one in Austin is great. As mentioned the jalapeño ranch sauce is legit. Will try soon if like Austin.

Yeah, I had a great meal at the one in Austin one night too.

Jalapeno ranch is the only thing worth a shite at Chuys.

Man I had some great food and drinks there one night. Maybe I was lucky but it was a home run. Plus I loved that neighborhood in Austin.

I'm excited to give it a try when I get in from offshore. But first, I need a new pair of truck nuts...

Maybe I'm just spoiled with so many options in Dallas. The food is good, nothing memorable IMO but the jalapeno ranch is worth going for no doubt.
