I'm shocked they are still in business honestly. Ball players getting challengers and chargers is all that is keeping them afloat.
Ram is the 3rd best selling vehicle in the US and the Jeep Wrangler essentially is its own category alone.

How can they not be making money on the challengers.. I mean they are freaking everywhere
Really. I see lots of Chargers and Challengers. Plus cops use them now.

They are everywhere. You can get them with very little down. But the retro styling will wear out sooner or later and sales will go away. If oil prices go up much more, you will see the used market flooded with 8 cylinder Challengers.

I guess so, but on the other hand they’re pretty unique looking. I don’t know how many V8 versions are sold, but gas prices will hit trucks harder I’d think.

Not surprised.
The Dodge Brothers’ story didn’t turn out well in real life.

It’s weird to me how RAM is it’s own brand now. I used to own one when they were Dodge RAMs

What will this do to the price of Jeep and Ram?
Posted on 6/2/18 at 12:20 pm to HubbaBubba
What does this mean for Jeep?

Everyone likes to talk shite about how bad Dodge cars are, but I've owned 2 chargers and 2 challengers and every single one had zero problems.
Rear drive cars is sort of their core competency.
Their Fiat based products are worse than any ground up Chrysler design ever was.

Been saying what crap Dodge and Chrysler are 4 years yet I still get plenty of downvotes on this forum when I mention it.
You're really out there on an island talking shite about Dodge and Chrysler
Trashing the most trashed automotive brands in the country is pretty edgy

I wouldn't mind having a Hellcat.

I would say this in wildly inaccurate. Chrysler was going to shite well before that purchase. Hell, I'll even go as far to say that Mercedes saved them at the time.
Yea... thats flat out wrong. Mercedes fricked them big time. It's not even a debate.

As a repair shop owner this is not good news. I might have to close shop.............Oh wait, nevermind, GM is still making cars.

You will still be able to get one of those in Morgan City.

They should probably further narrow that list to Ram and Jeep.

Charger amd Challenger.
Perhaps the most uncomfortable cars ever. Have rented a few in the past couple of years and HATE them. Like sitting on a park bench.

My wife has a 2012 Chrysler 300S and it’s been a fantastic car. Has 145,000 miles and we haven’t had any issues. Very comfortable to drive.

Uh no, i was working for Chrysler, at the time of the purchase, Chrysler was doing great, getting a nice piece of the market with the newly designed ram, mini van, etc.
We had our biggest bonus checks those 2 years, we were working 24/7 in that plant to get mini vans out the door. They didn't give a frick if they were paying double or triple time, they had a shite load of orders.
Remember, mercedes were the dumbshits, that when the PT cruiser came out at its 16K base price, and sold like hot cakes, stopped production to raise the base price to 22K. And because of the stoppage and then sticker bump, they petered out.
Mercedes did what ti came in 2 do, get that 900mil in cash, and steal from the Hemi diesel. They wanted it for years.
I still have my swatch watch from the purchase by mercedes. We all got one, had clear face and clear band, with daimler-chrysler on the band.
