Chrysler was hurt by Mercedes purchase. They stunted their lines and growth. When Mercedes took over, Chrysler was still dominating mini van market, and was growing in trucks, etc. Mercedes came in, poached the 900Mil in cash Chrysler had, to purchase other companies, then basically let it sit and rot
I would say this in wildly inaccurate. Chrysler was going to shite well before that purchase. Hell, I'll even go as far to say that Mercedes saved them at the time. It is their own damn fault they are shite, they have been making shitty cars for decades.

RAM is starting to kick arse. I suppose they want to focus on that.

Hope they keep the sport cars. I like the Charger amd Challenger. And I am white.

Everyone likes to talk shite about how bad Dodge cars are, but I've owned 2 chargers and 2 challengers and every single one had zero problems.
Can't fix stupid I guess.

They're scrapping a ton of models including the Ford Fusion.
Good. The Ford Fusion is a terrible car. I have a visceral hatred for that car. I'd call it a granny car, but I don't want to besmirch the good names of grannies everywhere.

Most of their sales are tied up in Ram and Jeep. Sounds like they are going the Ford route somewhat and focusing on the money makers.

I'm shocked they are still in business honestly. Ball players getting challengers and chargers is all that is keeping them afloat.

The Pacifica is one of the best minivans on the current market, and RAM seems to grow in market share every year.
Chargers are good cars if you can get past the ghetto stigma. Durangos are solid and don't have much competition in their segment.

Should have never sold Lamborghini

I thought their minivans were still doing well?
Posted on 6/2/18 at 10:50 am to HubbaBubba
Ram and Jeep are the only things they've made money in. They should have dropped other cars a long time ago.

How ugly was the Dodge Magnum? What were they thinking when they released it?
