Pops is an amazing cook and really enjoys sharing it so I've asked him to teach me how to make his gumbo. Full day together. Grocery, prepping and cooking. I've asked for this from him to be my gift for Christmas, but he's just as excited as I am. But they're retired and like the bed and breakfast places, so we got them a gift card to stay there for a weekend.

I buy my dad a gift cert to this car wash near us. He takes care of his rides, and goes there couple times a month. It's what he wants, and easy to get.
shite isn't cheap, i end up having to spend more on him, so he can get a few more washes out of it. I think he gets their $18-19 wash. They do a hell of a job.

this is the kind of thing that we should do a whole lot more of...you may want to try to find a way to record some of it to look back on when you get old and are doing the same with your son.
