It is called the epiphany. Tho original tradition was the decorations went up Christmas Eve and then came down after the Epiphany which is the 6th. Why don't you read up on it, or just keep getting mad at stupid stuff.

ours are still up and still on. If the temp rises above freezing perhaps my husband will take them down this weekend. If not, he'll at least unplug them so they won't be lit.
