Have a friend who came to the group text to complain about his bonus dropping from 16% to 3.5%. Got me to thinking what is the average bonus? I’ve worked in multiple healthcare facilities and never had more than $150

Do you mean straight Christmas specific or year end/annual bonus?

I get paid well all year, so I don't need some false flag "bonus" to keep me appeased

If the company doesn’t make a profit do you give back a portion of your salary?

Last year was 52%. We hit our numbers again but it’s already being hinted that the “corporate modifier” will be unfriendly as other groups sucked it up. I’m pegging 40%.

Now this is a formal incentive comp agreement not the company being benevolent. If we miss our goal, that number gets to 0% with a quickness. But I’m fine with that. It’s a good mix of not being totally commission dependent but still being rewarded for doing a good job and bringing in a lot of fee income.

$10K. Should be in account by Monday, which leaves about 48 hours to christmas shop.

We get a truss Christmas which is $1,000.

For years end bonus they depend on our production and are not capped. Highest I have gotten personally was $725,000 still hunting the elusive 7 figure bonus.

Highest in the firm that I know of was close to $1.5MM.

I worked for a well known corporation for 27 years.
Every year we had a choice of a honey baked ham or a turkey for Thanksgiving. Company did a realignment and they took them away. I retired the next year.

frick'em...

People shouldn’t expect a bonus or bitch about it not being enough. Companies do not owe you a bonus.

Ours is technically not a "Christmas Bonus" but we get a large lump sum every winter.

Mine is 5%, my wife's is 20%

I love this time of year.
