How did this gal end up just disappearing? Did someone pick her up? Did she fall over the bridge?

The Brief
Missing since September 30: Christin "Chrissy" Munn-Holliday, 22, disappeared after investigators say she walked away from a hit-and-run crash along Interstate 10 in Louisiana.
Search efforts intensify: The United Cajun Navy has reportedly joined the search, using boats, drones and volunteers on foot to help locate the missing mother.
Family desperate for answers: Chrissy's family is offering a $20,000 reward for her safe return and raising money to hire a private investigator and attorney.

Christin "Chrissy" Munn-Holliday, a 22-year-old Texas woman and mother of a 4-year-old boy, has been missing since September 30, 2026, after a crash along Interstate 10 in Louisiana.
According to Louisiana State Police, troopers are investigating a hit-and-run crash that happened during the early morning hours of September 30 on I-10 eastbound near milepost 128 in Iberville Parish, along the Atchafalaya Basin Bridge.
Investigators believe Munn-Holliday was driving one of the vehicles involved in the crash.
A preliminary investigation indicates that she left the scene on foot following the collision and has not been located since.
Authorities have not released additional details about what led up to the crash or what may have happened to Munn-Holliday after she walked away.

Who was at fault in the hit and run?

If she is walking, she could have gotten hit and thrown over the side (asuming basin bridge).

She got hit or blown over and possibly eaten by a gator.

.
Whiskey Bay exit is milepost 127, so a mile East of that.
That's the stretch between Ramah and Whiskey Bay.

Is the ‘last pinged location’ the Basin Bridge or 5100 Ambassador Caffrey Blvd?

Thanks. I saw that after reading further, but given the map with the "last ping" being elsewhere, op could have quoted that part.

Cute chick, don't like her edges, though. I hope she's found safe.

That sucks. She's a pretty girl too.

I could've sworn I saw it mentioned where she was seen walking down the ramp at the exit, if so there's nothing there but woods, water, and a lightly used boat ramp. I think she had already been reported missing by her family in Texas when the accident happened too.

Photo of crash. She was hit from behind
Her Mom Said Her Last Pinged Location Was Showing 1500 Ambassador Caffery Parkway Which is A Racetrac (Store/Gas Station)
From The Amabassador Exit to Her Pinged Location, It Is 7-8 Miles
If she needed gas why would she go that far off the exit
Wondering if she ever got back in the car in Lafayette. Maybe someone stole the car.

I'm so confused.
Did someone see her walk away from the accident?
Did her phone ping at the gas station before or after the accident?

Witnesses saw her walking. I'd guess people driving by the accident.
Phone pinged in Lafayette before the accident.
