I had a boss with Tourette's a long time ago. It was more facial tics and shudders than verbal, and not immediately apparent unless he was tired. He did not tell me and the second day of work or so he was sitting in my office and began winking and scrunching up his face. I started laughing, and he asked what's funny. He was cool about it and explained his condition. I still felt a bit guilty.

My Dad’s first cousin has it (preface he’s super religious Pentecostal). His main thing is facial ticks his tongue goes nuts like he’s got the worlds best pussy flavored ice cream cone while blinking uncontrollably. His big verbal ticks are “frick you cocksucker” and “bullshite”. Every time he has an outburst he apologizes to Jesus. He said the worst trigger for it was stress and unfortunately his biggest stressor was groups of people especially if he didn’t k ow them.

Apparently in her early tik tok posts she doesn’t have it. She might have it but it ain’t as bad as she’s making it out to be. But still pretty savage to say what she did to Cuomo.

Think what some people are overlooking is the trigger: stress.

In one interview I watched she said her ticks get really bad/worse when she’s talking about them or her Tourette’s which makes sense.
she can control it keep it under wraps in more normal life but when she gets stressed or she has to answer questions about the ticks the ticks happen
hers also mostly come in sets of threes
I’m sure she could be exaggerating it, but that level of “faking” it would be quite a feat…not laughing or breaking yourself and the head and mouth face movements etc.

I bet it wasn’t. I work with a young guy about 21 that has Tourette’s pretty bad. His thing is yelling but he doesn’t curse. He has some body motions also. Mostly it’s just a yell and throwing his head back. Just yesterday he came and visited me for a bit and he was having a bad day. He was actually slapping himself in the head when he would yell and jerk his neck and head. Occasionally he will have a day where he hardly reacts at all. He doesn’t really discuss having Tourette’s with anyone , we all just accept as he is. He is a real good kid.
