What do you call prevalent? Are there blacks who feel this way? Yes. Are there blacks who dont like Chris Brown and R Kelly? Yes. Are there blacks who dont give a shite unless it affects them? Yes.

I can't say for sure, but Ive been seeing in many different places that Chris Brown did not do this. Apparently there's a witness who has said he didnt do anything.
No good sources, so I will wait til some more facts come out before i pass judgement one way or the other.
