I stopped at a convenience store near Robert, LA, as I was walking in, I saw Warrick Dunn coming out with 2 boys, aged about 10-12. The 2nd one didn't hold the door open for me, Warrick stops say "young man, when you see an elderly person heading to a door, you stop and hold it open for them."
The boy ran back and opened the door for me, I thanked him.
We need a lot more Warrick Dunns'.
Chivalry isn't just about holding the door open for ladies, it's about showing respect and kindness to everyone.

You are completely right. Men in GenX were raised by women coming out of the 60s, and we got a message from our moms that was not conducive to ... being a man. Men are largely afraid of everything now wrt to women.
Take charge, be chivalrous, don't be a bully, communicate, and women in our age range will fall all over you.
