Computer base chips will continue to be a coveted item to control.
Chips will be one way for the NWO/WEF type folks to control people and their activities.

basically said Taiwan is scores of decades ahead of anyone else in the world and the US is screwed unless a WW2 effort is made in industry ramp up and investment…..quickly

TSMC - Taiwanese semiconductor manufacturing company is the foundry for every cutting edge technology. To be fair though there are just a couple of foundries left in the world. TSMC, Samsung, and Intel are really the only major players. Everyone else pays them to build their designs.

That being said TSMC is worried about China and building huge plants in Arizona and Japan.

In 2021, the average car contained about 1,200 chips worth $600, twice as many as in 2010.

Seems odd there’s this much attention for $.50 chips. I bet the 600 chips in 2010 were at least $1/ea. Hopefully, someone other than china can produce chachkis.

The chips in the cars are old tech built on processes that the few foundries left don't want to tool for. Part of the reason is that car manufacturers don't want to update due to all the safety testing. The issue has been a long time coming

The one I always use to jack with native German-speakers is the compound word they use for “speed limit” :Geschwindigkeitsbegrenzung

Alternatively, probably the most clever short word in German is “bau”, it means construction or building but “anbau” is farming.

The surname “Bauer” is a workman.

The Bauhaus Movement in the ‘20s & ‘30s used the term and it is easily accessible in other languages.

And oh-so-close to “baw”, to boot.

Louisiana should be an absolute juggernaut then. We know how to make ultra pure water very well here off of the Mississippi River.

Cold lime softened clarifier, sand filter, multimedia filter, softener, RO, mixed bed polisher. It’s not cheap, but the Mississippi River is predictable and well known. Let’s fricking go

You forgot to mention the filtration system that removes all of the hormones and medical waste, or do you like having male fish grow eggs inside their bodies?

It is a matter of cost to make chips or they would all be made here.

FTR, hydrocarbon solvents are used to clean the chips. Exxon Chemicals in Baton Rouge supplies a lot of high purity isopropyl alcohol for this.

I'm all for paying the extra for the chips to me made in the mother land. But a part of me questions why my tax money subsidizes it just so some political cronies can get paid to make them.

Sounds like our backwards arse state of Louisiana should get into it, we have the most water in the country, lol

But likely never happen due to crooked arse politics and anti-business policies

AMD does not produce any chips. They sold their foundry business long ago
