I got held up by a guy in a gas mask one night leaving TA's, circa 89 or 90. That's all I got.

Live music at the chimes/ bayou/library.
I pretty much lived at The Library every afternoon for the hour before Tigerband practice during the fall semester each year from 86 to 90. Great place to shoot pool, play video baseball, and have a couple beers before two hours of marching band practice. Open Mic Night was pretty good there too.
The Bayou was the best pool hall near campus by a long shot and The Chimes undoubtedly had the best live music scene.
Great times indeed!

Don't know anything about that.
But could you spare a quarter so me and Jett and my buds can get some beer at the Shell Station?

Nice.
I like this guy. Yeah, he doesn't know how to use punctuation but probably has some good stories from back then. Just needs to run it through a spell check first.
