Can you imagine working there as a doctor or a nurse?

Rule number one when rotating in the NICU as a medical student. Do whatever the nurse tells you

Huge! My son is alive today thanks to Children's Hospital NOLA

Same boat here. My son was air-meded there after coding when he was 2 weeks old. You won't know he ever had a problem if you see him today.

This better not cost me any money. Not only do they probably steal my tax money to give to a for profit hospital but they also try to steal from me by “rounding up” every time I go to taco bell

Thank God they didn't name it after Brees

Yeah, "thank god" that Drew Brees didn't donate enough money to a children's hospital to have it named after him.

That’s an absurd take. Everyone here loves the Mannings. Nobody cares they didn’t go to LSU.
Hell, we want them to buy the Saints ASAP.

It amazes me some of the blowback the Mannings get in Louisiana. They run their lives in a manner that's basically above reproach. Yet they get hate from knuckle draggers because they didn't go to LSU.

lol. You’re right though.

Well with all that stuff about the Catholic Church, everybody would be real suspicious if drew Brees was hanging around a children’s hospital

Except that time Peyton sexually assaulted a trainer, then followed her throughout her career trying to get her fired from everywhere

So this is where you messed up. Because I happen to know way more about this incident than you do. And you don't know what you're talking about.

I don’t care for Eli because of the draft and telling the Chargers basically they were not worthy of him playing there. Spoiled whiny rich kid.

I have nothing against them but the canonization of then is a little much. They are very savvy with PR. They’ve all had their fun and then some.

iirc, the Mannings approached the Chargers before the draft and begged them not to draft him, butthurt Chargers tried to humiliate him by drafting him and making it appear, on tv at the draft, that they were all happy and had great plans for the future knowing all along he wasn't going to sign with them, it's been a long time but I think that was what happened there

I respect your right to have that opinion.

Wrong as it may be.

Archie played for three NFL franchises, at least two with shite owners. (Mecom & Adams)

He did what a dad should do, don’t let your kid go to a shite owner’s franchise.

shite franchises don’t let you win or maximize your return.

Eli didn’t make that call, Archie did. Don’t flippantly blame Eli for it. That’s lazy and wrong.

You ever hear Archie talk bad about someone? How about any Manning? They’re good people and now they’re putting their money up for a good cause. Sounds like they aren’t the one with a spoilt, whiny* character here.

*Admittedly Peyton can be a bit whiny, so there’s that but in general they’re good people.

One day on Buddy D's show, Buddy was going on about how great the Mannings were for Louisiana after Archie called in. I called Buddy and said they hadn't done much for Louisiana (at that time) and it's shameful that none of them went to any Louisiana school. Yes, I was halfway being bitter and halfway trolling.

Buddy then loses his mind and can't get any words out he was so flustered. Eventually he says "I can't call you a squirrel, you are worse than a squirrel."
if buddy d hated you, that's enough for me
