They're going to grow up super close, especially if they're the same sex. So, that's something.

Hopefully your intelligence gene doesn’t get passed on to them. They will be on 16 and pregnant taking advice from you.

I have 3 - 20 months apart (Twins)

You're fricked until you get them out of diapers.

After that, you're the luckiest man alive.

Sack up young buck, only 2-3 years to go....

About to have another one and the boys will be around 22 months apart. I’m trying to get all my sleep in before we do the infant thing all over again. But I am looking forward to them being pretty close in age as they grow up together.

Second children birth fast.. First signs of contractions get your arse to the hospital or you'll be delivering the babe yourself on the shoulder of I-10.

I dread the daycare cost for 2 kids. My wife talks about having another baby, but we pay 10k+ per year in daycare and I can't imagine having two in daycare at the same time.

Yep. My 1st will be 19 months when the 2nd comes. Daycare will be $15k per year

Get a double stroller. It will make your life easier but you’ll have to deal with the looks from people wondering what you were thinking having 2 kids that close. Get a backpack diaper bag big enough to fit both of their stuff. Start potty training your first born as soon as you halfway think he/she is ready. The older one being somewhat independent will help you and of course save you some $$$ Buying diapers/pull-ups for 2 is a killer!

Good luck, we’re all counting on you

Listen carefully:

You can still run a man to man defense. When you have a third child you will need to switch to zone.

could you make a shittier comment as a dad? the reason is irrelevant, stepping up and being the best you can be for them is all that matters now

Good luck baw.

Just remember it's going to suck, but only for a few years.

When they are 6/4 to 7/5 it will be a lot better.

Mine are 22 months apart. I'm sure I'll love that decision down the road, but when one is potty training and in the terrible twos while one is still in the infant constantly crying stage, I question my sanity

Congrats! Having 2 in diapers is a crazy time, but once you get past it, you will be thankful.
