I absolutely am saying that. Insurance is a major issue
Also, as a non-business owner, I would also guess your costs have to be forecasted to some degree. You can't just drop your prices because of one variable dropping.

Picked up almost 70 wings in the freezer last wknd. Don't know the price per pound but a big pack was around 8 bucks at L&N.

Yep. They are passable but for some reason I’m never thrilled about eating my own wings. I like a gross sweaty bartender to sling them to me.

There are a couple of hood stores, I frequent(early in the morning) where they will have them on sale for $1.29/lb, sometimes. Nice size too.

This is the price the restaurants pay the suppliers.
Restaurants won’t lower menu prices I can promise you that. Wings will cheaper at the grocery store though

Wake me up when a corporation voluntarily reduces its retail price because of cost savings from their wholesale supplier.
I won’t hold my breath.

Demand for eating out isn't going away.
I’m amazed by it. Every restaurant in my city seems always packed. My wife and I make pretty money, well into 6 figures. But we only eat out about once a week. I feel like it’s too expensive for what we get.
I guess it’s the same for my industry, industrial sales. We keep raising prices on everything from products to delivery fees. I’ve never seen it so busy. I keep thinking we’re going to eventually price ourselves out of the market. It hasn’t happened yet. I can’t keep shite on the shelves. Hell, I think I could triple the price on some items and we’d still run out of stock

You need to contact Biden and tell him you can’t afford to pay it and want it wiped out. You can let the rest of the country pay for it

Restaurants won’t lower prices. They have to offset all the other inflated prices and costs.
Not true. Someone will drop them for advertising, it’s cheap and easy. They will get slammed. Then more people will to react.
Yeah costs have done up, but that doesn’t mean they have to all stay up.

Many of us live in towns where there isn't much in the way of entertainment besides eating and drinking
