What examples what I dismissive of? I wasn't dismissing anything and certainly wasn't attempting to be argumentative. You were replying in generalities and I was asking for specific business names (strictly out of curiosity). You later mentioned Starbucks which is a great example and probably #1 of all.

The jalapeno chicken salad sandwich is awesome at CSC!

I was pissed that Chick-fil-a stopped making chicken salad sandwiches too.

Classic carol is good stuff, better then calvin's IMO and last way longer. Calvin's starts to stink after 2-3 days.

I mean you can put it over a bed of lettuce for a salad salad! Or make a sammich. Or you can eat with crackers. Or just all by itself.... whats not to love?

We have one near our house in Bradenton that hasn’t folded yet, so it must be doing ok. But my wife and I never think of it when looking for a place to eat. She loves chicken salad, and when she makes it at home I really like it. But otherwise it reminds me of wedding reception finger sandwiches or Chick food.

The one in Mandeville is right by Beau Chene. I saw them hauling garbage bags of cash out the back like Pablo Escobar in the ‘80s.

The real housewives of St. Tammany can't help themselves. Pumpkin spice lattes for breakfast and then off to load up on chicken salad.

You obviously haven't tried The Big Cheesy. Delicious food. Very niche. We went primarily for the kids but the sammich I had was amazing.
I had the Juice. GF had the Turkey Presto(I had a bite of hers. maybe better than my sammich). Good stuff for something different in NOla.

Two Nola Locations

My go to lately has been blackened chicken salad on a buttered English muffin sandwich. Throw in some diced bacon if you really want to kickstart your day

An entire fast food joint dedicated to chicken salad doesn't seem like such a great idea imo. I certainly could be wrong.

What sayeth the OT?

We have an entire fast food chain dedicated to chicken fingers (Raising Cane's) and it's working quite well.

Never thought this tiny Auburn business would expand as much as they have. Too bad the founder can't enjoy her success, passed away a few years ago from cancer
