My wife works for a regional restaurant group and they won the bid to host standalone restaurants in IAH in Houston but you also agree to run the fast food joint like a Chic-fil-a. So its not definitely not the same.

The waffle fries are almost the same amount of calories as the sandwich.

Haven’t had the one at MSY, but the only shitty CFA I’ve ever been to is the one in Union Station in DC.

The last two times in a row, I got home and was missing items from my mobile order :( Both times it was my food items too. But I mean, mistakes happen. Doubt it is a CFA thing.

I actually get the grilled nuggets with buffalo sauce and a side salad with FF Italian. Super low cal and I actually like the grilled nugs.

It’s gotten pretty average at the two near me. Lots of messed up orders and not nearly as efficient as it used to be.

All employees at an airport restaurant are employed by the concessionaire rather than the brand.

So the people you are dealing with come from HMS Host, Delaware North, Aramark, etc. and could be in the CFA one day and PF Changs the next.

The only CFA I've ever gone by on multiple different occasions and there has been a line that wasn't moving. Any time I've tried getting anything from that location was far more akin to trying to get service at Burger King.

I don't do Chick Fil A anymore, so doesn't matter to me. Besides Popeyes has the best darned chicken sammich in America.

Anybody can slap a bland piece of chicken between two slices of bread, but it takes a really good chef to turn out a masterpiece of flavor and crunchiness. Yummy! That sauce!!

I’m not surprised - I find a lot of the mall CFAs have terrible service as well

The stand alone CFAs are exceptional
