You're saying that she knew what her training told her to do but despite that she didn't know if she should follow that training. I understand. But I see the root issue as she didn't know how to respond and that's still a training issue.

I disagree. She knew how to respond, but she apparently chose not to because she knows that almost all these cases that BLM proclaims as "executions" are justified within the law. Hell, the OG BLM case, Ferguson, was 100% justified yet the "hands up, don't shoot" lie is still their rally cry. There is no reason for her to believe that the incident she was involved in, had it ended with a shooting, would have been truthfully reported by the media.

If you think the BLM crucifixion of LEO's isn't constantly on the mind of cops in major American cities, especially Chicago, then I don't know what to tell you.
Some supporters of the Ferguson Effect theory have alleged that Chicago is the glaring example of what happens when cops have that issue at the forefront of their minds on a daily basis.

Fair enough, but you seemed to take exception to the statement that she didn't know what to do. I don't really see how someone can argue otherwise. Her training (or her ability to apply that training) was inadequate, plain and simple.

I don't see how this changes the fact that her training failed. We are told that the decisions are instinctual, yet her instincts were to do nothing. She wasn't thinking about BLM and the burden they'd bring while she was being beaten.

she didn't shoot becaue she froze up for what ever reason regardless of what she is saying now.
I have a bigger issue with he above statement. Why did they not use lethal force at the point that the officer was being beaten on the ground? Tazing him multiple times is stupid. You are standing there watching a fellow officer get beaten, you shoot the perp.

Possibly not, but there's an excellent chance that, if that is the real reason, it caused her to hesitate and all the perp needs is a small opportunity to exploit it.

I disagree. Everywhere departments are catching shite about the way they great black men. That strikes at the heart of their training. BLM alleges systemic racism and that cops will kill blacks when they shouldn't. And now they make you pay dearly for it. They riot, threaten your family, your job, everything. And you have a US Attorney's Office who indulges these mobs.
