Does the database determine the racial makeup of the those who are gang members, or do gang members determine the racial makeup of those listed in the database?

I've also seen a ton of comments on places like reddit, that Indiana's loose gun laws are the reason for Chicago's high gun crime. But you are not legally allowed to buy a handgun in a different state. Also, something like less than 3% of guns recovered in shooting crimes in Chicago were originally purchased in Indiana, and almost all of that 3% were reported as stolen.

You left off quite a salient part of that statement. Average folks could get on the list because they happened to be around their gang member brother.
They could probably run a reconcile report of who has actually been charged with gang crimes or violent/drug crimes and keep them on, which is probably what the police would do if that actually were to happen.

The number of fricks I give if someone ends up on the list because they have banger relatives is pretty damn low.
You hang out with thugs, you end up on a Known Associates list for when they have to find these people.

Known associates is not some new thing.
If my brother and were really close and hung out all the time, but he was a drug king pin and I still worked in a cube and didn't break any laws, I'd be on sorts of lists.

So if your brother is a drug dealer, you are one, and go on a list? Your uncle was in a terror group (pick one), you are on a list? Seems like you are fine with a lack of due process, even worse, without a crime needing to be committed. And I don't see it say a known associates list, I see a gang list. For a known associates list, you typically have to first be a criminal. That is not always the case for gang lists. They can clean it up just like how I said, they don't even need to get rid of the list.

I gotta say, on the surface, that this sounds like it actually could lead to a decrease in crime. Derp!
These people only care about their own race while white people hate themselves.
And, in the case of this woman, you can be less than 50% black and more than 50% white, and yet you'll identify only with blacks and do everything you can to put down whites.
