They target kids because they want to normalize and expand their longterm dating pool and multiply their numbers by recruiting kids because they want more options for themselves. Like everyone knows they are an extreme minority whose representation in media far exceeds their actual reflection in society. By presenting it as a family friendly option they are seeking parental approval in normalizing their behavior while creating an avenue to meet and influence kids with their way of life. It's disgusting on many levels due to the predatory implications of what they are actually pursuing under the guise of entertainment.
