I am pretty sure In N Out was the first to do this, but many In N Outs have lines that spill out up to a block away on the road at busy times and that is with two drive-through lanes.

Chik-Fil-A is a stupidly well run business that very smartly hires good people, keeps them on (somehow), keeps prices reasonable while maintaining some of the highest quality food and customer service in fast food.
It is amazing to the point where I'm stunned that, particularly McDonald's who has more money than the Vatican, their competitors haven't just copied what they do wholesale to try to keep up.

In and Out would do well here. Certainly beats the crap out of Water Burger or McDonalds.

My first job when I was 16 was at Burger King 21 years ago and I did this. Just without the iPads.

There are some smaller regional chains that are pretty close...but CFA is by far the best national chain.

It’s hard to make a national chain have the general consistency that CFA has. Maybe it’s their Christian beliefs

The one on Highway 280 has been doing it for close to ten years, before they even had iPads. And they STILL managed to always get the order correct at the window.

The one in Covington has 2 drive thru waitresses from open to close. Their service is amazing. The other night I drove thru to get my wife a shake and for the first time at a chic fila I was told the shake machine was broken. Imagine my surprise when I got to the window and saw 2 employees actually working on it and it was actually broken unlike every other fast food place ever in my life
