Good to know you have reliable roadside assistance.

And while you’re riding Ford Dick about TARP funds, reflect on this:

quote:

DEARBORN, Mich. – The Energy Department said Tuesday it would lend $5.9 billion to Ford Motor Co. and provide about $2.1 billion in loans to Nissan Motor Co. and Tesla Motors Inc., making the three automakers the first beneficiaries of a $25 billion fund to develop fuel-efficient vehicles.

Big difference between taxpayers having to keep your company afloat and stupid government handouts because they think the earth is on fire.

I'm a Chevy man but this is the worst looking Silverado I've ever seen. Will not buy.

We’ll explain it then professor. A subsidy is a subsidy. It’s still tax payer funds regardless of why or what it’s being spent on.
Bail them out cause they’re piss poor money managers or give them billions to develop “fuel efficient” (wtf does that even mean?) cars- same only different

Ok. GM would not exist today if you and my tax dollars weren't given to them to pay off their debts and pensions which allowed them to continue doing business.

A company taking money to develop more fuel efficient vehicles is because our government prioritized fuel economy and created a fund from our taxes and decided how to distribute it. It had nothing to do with the company's financials or profitability.

I disagree with both btw.

It just looks like a slightly bigger version of the Colorado. I’m curious to see how the non Z71 LT trucks look. It doesn’t look terrible.

ETA - it needs a painted to match grille. shite even a chrome grille would look better.

My first thought when I saw the first picture is it looks like a Tacoma. It is better looking than the Colorado buy I'll stick with the taco. May go get a new one next week.

Lee Iacocca helped orchestrate the first government bailout of an automaker back in the 70s.

ETA: Will reserve judgment on the Chevy until I see a non special edition.

They should make all of them Flow Ties like you can get on the Camaro.

ETA: Nevermind, went back and looked again and the bowtie is not on the grill.
