By the time you option it out, you can get a decent equipped 2wd 1500. The dressed up Colorado's/Canyons are good looking trucks though.

So it’s the best selling truck for 40 something years straight yet you make an ignorant statement such as that? I don’t think you build a record like that if your brand is always getting repaired. That would be Chevy and Dodges role.
The RAM has improved over the last few years but can’t much for Chevy or GMC.

Don’t let this insecure baws steer you wrong. Colorados and canyons are awesome. They’re tough, go forever, have been pretty easy maintenance for me, and the diesel and six cylinder have a little power, too. Plus the gas mileage ain’t bad either.
They really are solid arse trucks. Especially if you live in or go to the city a bunch.

Wore out a 2010 Silverado at 270,000 miles. Kept hearing the Tacoma was The Truck.....got a 2014 Taco T-Force pkg. Too small inside and out and uncomfortable with few options.
Traded in after 4 months for GMC Sierra Denali 4wd. Best truck ever. If you’re used to full size truck it’s hard to size down like that.
We even test drove a Colorado. It is way nicer than the Taco, but still too small.

Never had any complaints. Drive one for work but also needed something that could pull a boat. I have 125k miles on mine and the only thing I’ve ever had to replace was a Evap purge valve.

This is true....
....if you are okay with the smaller size.
They are great trucks though. I am thinking about getting a used manual 4 banger model for a 3rd vehicle.
I guess I could see how really fat people wouldn’t like the Colorado or Tacoma.

2016 GMC canyon SLT 63k miles, besides the tranny issue, it has been a fine vehicle, I had the software updated about a year ago for the chuggle and it runs much better.
I tow a 5.5k camper and it gets the job done, it will rev high only having a 6 speed, newer model has an 8 speed.

Nothing against the Colorado (my first truck was an '86 S-10 that I loved), but I would not trade my F-150 for a Colorado. However, you need to ask your question on the Outdoor Board. Those guys know everything about everything.

I had a buddy in my Tacoma who is 6'5" and he said he was fine for our 2 hour trek to the fishing hole. But he isnt fat. I think the people that say they are too small are just too fat. I understand it is smaller but I'm 6 foot 185 and fit fine.

I had one for four months last year and immediately went back to a full size. If you go on long trips, have dogs, kids, or anything that you want to put in the backseat you immediately start looking for more room. Also the gas mileage is about the same as the full size.
