Heading westbound now about 1 mile away from the plant stuck on I10
ProTip: Exit off and go north(if they allow, they're evacuating). Go about 2 miles and turn left on Soldier Rd.(the current evacuation line, so they may not let you), cut across to Rayne to get back to i10. Avoid taking hwy90 if at all possible, it a mess right now.

Yep. It’s stopped going eastbound. I’m on it and posting

If I could I would but it's to late for that. Traffic is moving extremely slow, but it's moving

Not really a chemical plant, it’s a drilling fluid yard.

No joke. Don't think you're going to get cute and get across Hwy 90 near there, either.
If you're Eastbound on I-10, get off of the Interstate at Crowley, exit 80. Drive North on Hwy 13 until you get to Hwy 190 in Eunice. That will take you East to I-49 in Opelousas and that'll get you back to I-10 on the other side of the burning plant. If you're going WB, reverse that. It'll add 60 miles to your trip, but you won't be stuck on I-10 or Hwy 90.

I'm on Ambassador Caffery way over by the Mall and fire trucks just passed on their way there.
I’m naked in my bean bag chair eating a Cinnabon and saw fire trucks on tv already there.
