I don't want the Washington stay at home order extended beyond May 4th.

In Lafayette the majority of businesses can already open, unless they are one of the "prohibited" types of businesses (nail salons, bars, barbers, not really sure what else there is other than elective surgeries that should be occurring).

In order for there to be a race race to go back into.

Even Uncle Sam runs out of resources at some point so, while I am sure it is sweet to be getting made whole to hang out at home, that can't last forever.

You certainly don't want the government to say "OK...crisis has been averted. No need for any stimulus" and then drop your arse into a double digit unemployment environment.

There's no such thing as a free lunch.

You left off restaurant. That’s kind of a big deal to get arse in seats at those places for they can make some money selling alcohol and the service industry can get back to work

If we die, we die. Open dat shite back up. I want to be able to watch sports and be drunk in bars again. Being drunk at home is too depressing.

I didn’t mention them because they are already opened, just having to use restricted methods, which is similar to what the other “grey area” businesses will have to do. These places aren’t open and operating like normal, but they are able to open.

While I truly thought we could open back up by wearing masks, using social distancing and just being hygienic I know now after seeing the huge pile of people circling Home Depot this morning , nope this crap is just going to get worse.

If there's not another huge spike in cases this fall, I'd say open everything back up January 1st like 2020 never happened.
