I for one love writing a check to the federal government during tax season while everyone else gets stimmy checks.

What’s funny is when you have more than people who don’t get stimulus checks and you still get one. Checking in for that.

Of course, especially if there are kids. But it isn't "poor".

I think the way they accelerated the cut-off of the checks in this round was shitty.

My MIL kept saying “well maybe you’ll still get it” I’m glad people who are struggling more will get it though.

I am not eligible, but even if I was I am against the stimulus money being distributed on principle.

The stimulus bill's will cause irreparable harm to the future generations and DC will keep going with more to come.

I love how our government punishes success and rewards failure. It seems like we are incentivizing the wrong behavior. If you want people to succeed you need to reward that and give people a reason to want to improve their selves.

Most working couples would miss the cutoff.

Well since the national average salary for working couples is about $144,000 you would be wrong.

probably because most of the people that qualify on the OT are on the high end of qualification range

unless you think a couple making $150k is struggling to pay their mortgage or put food on the table

We're talking about married, working couples. In the US. In 2021. I believe it.
