Went to my grandmother in law’s 90th in January and buried her last week. She was an incredible lady.

If he makes it another six weeks, Henry Kissinger will be 100. How many of you A-knew he was still alive; B - know who he is.

I've been to two; an aunt and a cousin. My mother missed hers by 5 months, 3 days.

I have.
She died about 6-months later.
That said, she made longer than I likely will.

Two of my great grandmothers. One lived to be 102 (1892-1994) and the other lived to be 103 (1886-1989). Both were sharp as a tack up until close to their deaths.
I feel very lucky to have had both of them in my life and to be able to talk with them about all the changes they saw and experienced over the course of their lives growing up in South Louisiana and Chicago respectively.

Went to my grandmother’s 100th and 105th. She passed one week before her 110th. Irish stock. Born in 1898. Lived through some tough experiences but always had a positive and optimistic outlook on everything.

Went to one about a year and a half ago. My wife’s great aunt… My daughter was about 5 months old at the time and the lady was adamant that we had to bring her. It was really pretty awesome that it meant so much to her for us be there because she really wanted an oldest/youngest in the family picture.
One thing that was peculiar was they were sending out invites well in advance, like 4+ months. I mean, I get that it’s a big deal and you want as many people to plan to be there, but damn. Planning 4-6 months in advance at that age is risky to say the least.

I obviously don't remember it, but I was 2 when I was at my great grandma's 100th birthday. She died a couple years after that. I imagine it was a really nice occasion though.

I made it to my great grandmother's. My mom's paternal grandmother. She outlived two of her sons including my grandfather. .
