I got my son a Kia Forte for college. It's a sweet little ride and gets 40 MPG. He loves it.

Wife drives a '15 Sorento.

Got the kid a '14 Forte.

Both are solid vehicles. Love 'em.

Wife had her choice b/w Roque, Edge, Santa Fe Sport, and Rav-4

She chose the 2018 Santa Fe Sport and it has been a fantastic vehicle for the year we've owned it.

Paid $21K for a mid-level trim. Peppy little thing, only complaint would be the audio system but we upgraded with aftermarket speakers

Have rented a Sorrento on various business trips. Kind of an interesting intermediate size. Larger than Edge or Rouge but smaller than Explorer. Very comfortable.

Telluride will be my next vehicle. Literally the only thing other brands have over it is the name. Can't even claim lesser quality with Kia anymore

Bought my wife a new 2012 Tucson Limited in December 2012. The engine went out with one payment left on it. She was 4000 miles past the 100,000 mile warranty. Hyundai didn't have to do anything for us but they replaced the engine with a brand new one anyways.

had a 2005 Sonata that was super reliable (and super duper cheap)

I traded up to a 2015 Genesis that is very nice (and not super duper cheap but a good bit below it's competition)

Why would these qualify as baw?

Seem like decent value vehicles for people with a family..

We're considering getting a Telluride. Our neighbors just got one and it's super nice

You should give the Palisade a look. Those get all the fancy feature Hyundai wouldn't put in the Kia.

I inquired on Telluride, and confirmed they are build to order (demand higher than supply still). And Kia still offers incentives (special rates and $), I am shocked, its $1000 less than competitor already, they just want that market share apparently
