Let's hear some stories about all of us who are normal people and have good neighbors. I'll go first:
Last week, the old lady from across the street brought us cookies for no reason. Last month after a snowstorm, our next door neighbor took care of the snow on our sidewalks, just because. Any other good neighbor stories?

I have some kind of weird college professor neighbors, but they're really nice and they don't do their yard work at the break of dawn, they don't carry guns around when they're trimming the hedges and they don't make my life a living hell.
After reading everything the last 24 hours on here, I'm super satisfied with them.

Yesterday my neighbor cut my front yard because it was covered with leaves from his Oak tree.

One side: old house turned into law office. Never there. Super quiet and pleasant when we cross paths.
The other side: my old retired pastor. Uses the place as a weekend retreat. Him and the wifey haven't spent a night there since maybe mid December.

We have a mini-block party every Sunday night. 4-5 neigbors (entire households) get together, cookout, watch sports or a movie, etc. Ages range from 70's down to early 30's with kids. Everyone hangs out so much we all put gates between our backyards. Everyone shares tools, boats, swimming pools, LSU tickets, etc. I couldnt have better neighbors.

Elderly widow that brings us deserts from time to time, although we do bring her garbage / recycle bins to curb and back. Other neighbor brings me some very smooth moon shine every now again snd I share my smoked meat goodness with them. No need for holstered guns or 7am mowing in my parts.

Other than the occasional wave or good morning they don't talk to me so that's pretty awesome.

I love my neighbors. I bought their daughter's house, and their son loves on the other side of us. They treat us like one of their kids. They are always bringing food and check if in on is. It's great.

Same here except were all 30-40, have young kids, and get along really well. We help each other out, go on vacations, and like to have fun. Neighbors are awesome!

Who the frick knows their neighbors? Unless a court order requires you to introduce yourself when you move in, just keep to yourself and mind your own goddamn business.

My neighbors across the street are my cousin and her little family. Great kids and they get along great with my daughter. My cousin's husband has a sweet golf cart that he takes the kids around the hood in. To my left is a nice family and always willing to lend a helping hand. To my right, a young couple that isn't married but they invited us all to come over (kids and all) for a tornado party a few weeks ago.
