Our neighbors are great. Folks down the street take my son with them to their horse farm. Older couple up the street lend us their leaf blower because I'm too cheap to buy one. Crazy lady across the street gives us food and tells us we can use her basement every time a storm comes through.

We had awesome neighbors years ago. We'd get together on the reg and shoot pool or just hang out. Then a couple of the neighbors started fricking and everything went to shite. Now no one does anything together.

Live in an apartment building. Don't know my neighbors except to say hello on the elevator or at the mail boxes.

I wanted to beat the shite out of my old neighbor.
We live on a lake and the HO required us to have a wrought-iron (or aluminum) fence along the lake: ~100'. The rest of the fence could be pine or cedar.
My neighbor stopped their wood fence 100' short of the lake. The back of their property was not yet closed in. I really didn't want to leave half of the property not fenced, nor did I want to pay/install 300' of wrought iron or aluminum, so we asked the husband if we could extend their already build fence another few sections. He said it was ok.
So, after my dad and I worked out asses off getting the wood fence up (the extension looked perfect) I received a visit from the wife. An old hag bitch.
My dad had just left, so I'm inside half dead from working in 95F for 12 hours when I see the bitch through a window standing in my driveway pointing at me to come outside. As soon as I opened the door, the bitch started threatening lawsuits due to the extension and raising hell. There was absolutely nothing wrong with it.
I beat the shite out of her 3x in my head during that exchange.
Did I mention that this was the FIRST time I met her?

They mind their business. I mind mine. I prefer it that way. There's little opportunity for something to go wrong. Also, I'm not very long term where I'm at anyway.

My neighbor is a rich, dog loving, young woman without a job. So she neighborhood watches all day and takes my packages in her house if it’s raining.
She’s awesome. Not hot though…at all.
Also, she is a pot head and a hippy because she has daddy’s money and nothing to do. Loves to day drink wine and doesn’t give a shite about much besides people stealing her QVC packages off the porch (which happened once like 3 years ago).
Basically she’s perfect.

It's just amazing how people have so little to do in their lives, they need to find things their neighbor does to complain about. I mean aside from someone cutting grass at 6 am on a saturday, I could careless what they do.

I live in a cul de sac and neighbors are great. But the neighborhood Facebook and Nextdoor sites scare me.
We have some people that live in the neighborhood that are just pieces of shite.

Neighbor on right soccer coach with two annoying dogs . When I let my dog out they start barking and my dog just sits there, quiet. And it's those high pitch types of barks. Nice guy with a live in. Didn't seem to upset when I came in late from fishing and backed into his corner fence post. Gave him a bag of white perch fillets. On the other side I have the monsters. You know the old tv show. Husband looks like the butler but four feet shorter. Wifey a little ditzy, got pissed at me when I whipped my dog for crossing the street. Her mother also lives with them and she's always coming over to ask me questions, borrow tools, or telling me how many ground rattlers they found today. She keeps an eye on my shite though. Took them some fish also. Across street a retired oil field helicopter pilot and his wife that are raising their daughters kids. He also flew in Vietnam, and got some cool stories. Once worked with Tiger Woods father, said he was a badass Sgt. major, special forces I believe.

My neighbor cuts my grass when I'm out of town on vacation.
My neighbors always bought my kids school fundraising crap.
We only have one bad "neighbor" and he doesn't really live there. He has a rent house that is poorly maintained, rents to anyone and the grass is always high.

My neighbor on one side is a lumber company. They come by one every few decades to cut trees. My neighbors on the other side are cows. They moo from time to time but other than that they keep to themselves.

I do. My neighbor is 85, and from Athens Greece. He watches my place like a hawk. He even pulled a gun on some Latinos I had doing yard work because he thought they were breaking in. During Christmas, he makes Baklava, and it is awesome. I still have no clue what he says, tho.

My house number is X05. A few years ago, I received Ole Miss season tickets for X15 in the mail by accident. I had never met X15.
This was one of those seasons that Ole Miss was going to win the SEC, so Im sure he was excited about his tickets. Being a graduate of MSU and LSU, I put on gloves (just kidding) but I went to take him his tickets about 7:30 one night.
He was a doctor that worked Midnight to Noon. I had no idea, but I woke him up. I walked away intending to put his tickets in his mailbox, when he came to the door.
For some reason, I said "We've got a problem, here." as an attempt to make light of an MSU/LSU grad getting Ole Miss season tickets. Dude said "Damn right we have a problem" and pulled a gun out on me.
I quickly diffused the situation by explaining the problem, telling him I was his down the street neighbor and giving him the tickets. The next day, he knocked on my door, apologized and insisted on giving me and my wife a gift card to Shapley's (fine dining establishment).
That guy was awesome.

I have one neighbor that's right across the road. Other than that have to drive about a mile in each direction to get to one.

Two good families on both sides. Kids the same age as mine so they are always out paying ball or riding bikes.
Before the one family moved in on our left, we had a mentally ill guy that would stalk the women on the street and killed many of the pets on the street (the new neighbors found a pile of pet bones under his shed). He would also randomly leave boxes of food he got from a food bank at our door or he would leave children books on our porch..... Had to get the police involved and found out the dude had a few restraining orders on him already.. After they talked to him he freaked and moved out of town. So glad he is gone

Neighbor puts out my trash cans and takes them off the street. She gets up earlier.

I do not need a hot rich young neighbor that is around all the time. Wouldn't be good for my mental state
