The rush.

Opportunity plus perceived lack of consequences.

Whatever is missing in their relationship.

If loving you is wrong

We go to the same gym and we both know just about everyone there, I'm confident there's no cheating going on there.

Girls night is 2 or 3 times a month and since she doesn't hang out with trashy whores, Im confident there's no cheating there either.

Maybe your wife/SO needs new friends.

I've seen this same kind of statement spewed in this thread. I just don't believe this statement is true. If that's the case then why do people feel so awful when they find out they've been cheated on?

Y'all say that it's our animalistic tendencies, if that's the case then why even get married anymore?

I've seen both sides of the coin. I know how bad it can destroy someone. And how goddamn incredible it can feel.

It's a drug that once tasted, it's hard to put down. The sneaking around. The stolen trysts. The forbidden nature of it.

We want what we can't have. And once we have it the allure wears thin. And then we're chasing it again.

I've said many times before, the only hard step is the first one. After that it's always the same script.

"This is the last time. This can't happen again. What if he finds out?"

On and on and on.

But it's never really the last time. Sure as the junkie finds the needle.

And you can be sober from it for a while...but once things start to lose their shine and that woman at work, or at the bar, or wherever takes that shine and you get that scent again...

Well it's hard as hell to resist diving in again.

Don't start, folks. Don't take the first step down that path.

I don't get the gym thing isn't the point of her going to stay or get in shape so you'll remain attracted to her? I get the possibility of her meeting someone there, but isn't the point for her to have a body you want to frick?

Go read Hemingway or Fitzgerald - this stuff is nothing new. Doesn't make it any better, but immorality isn't new, and I would wager it's no more common.

Guess I'm wired different cause I have no desire to cheat on my wife. It's not that I'm not attracted to other women, I just can't imagine putting in the effort to get a different woman into bed.
when the wife and I go to dinner and I see a couple on a date, all I can think is how glad I am not to have to do all that shite again.

Guess that's why I tell everyone I'll never marry again if my wife dies or we split. It just ain't worth the effort. But then again l, I never was worth a shite at the chase. Never enjoyed it like some do, I guess.

I still say if you aren't married, it's not cheating.

Where do y'all come up with this shite?

Woman I know of used her gym time to go frick at his downtown condo his wife didn't know about. Which was down the street from the gym.

Gym is great cover because they can come home dishelved, hair up, look like they have been sweating (cause they have) and have an excuse to take a shower right away when they get home. Odds of you trying to hit it or snuggle when you think she's been at the gym sweating is slim. I know a girl who goes and "runs at the lake" when she goes to see Jody.

So you just accept the fact that Joe Blow the mechanic down the street is railing your wife?

You're really ok with knowing Jamarcus the BBC mailman is destroying your wife's fallopian tubes? C'mon man I seriously can't comprehend a man knowing his wife is getting railed and being okay with it because he doesn't like to fight.
