Put white rum in emptied plastic water bottles and recapped with sealed lids to sneak into concert venues that allow you bring in a bottle of sealed water.

Knew a guy that would steal all the sweetener packs and any other condiments available from restaurants just so he wouldn't have to buy any at the grocery.

The oil light on my ‘72 LTD was on back when there were not gauges just lights. I put electricians tape over it, went to a dealer at night and traded it that night.

My grandparents knew a couple like that. They had a very nice home in Tchefuncta Club Estates.

You save money by not buying a ticket.

Most people care more about seeing thr new movie in the theater than popcorn covered in butter, but you do you.

Ordered foam mattress online. It came in with a very small tear. Requested to send it back. They said donate it to the Salvation Army and they will send a replacement with a receipt proving donation and pickup. I put my old mattress on the porch for the Sally. Kept the one with the tear , got another delivered and didn’t have to dispose of the old mattress. Profit.

know a landman who would swap out his old burnt out light bulbs for ones in hotel rooms

I know a multimillionaire that travels in a nice, loaded, vehicle. But NEVER stops to pay for a hotel. They sleep in their car.

Also if in a restaurant/home and people were eating chicken wings, steak, burgers. if people left an inkling of meat on the chicken wing bones he would eat them.

Went to a NYE party at a bar when I was in college. Filled my boots and coat pockets up with airplane bottles. Pretended I was the DD to the bartender and got free mixers. I may have done cheaper things, but that one stands out.

That sounds like my grandmother that grew up during the depression. Her and my grandfather were both successful and built a nice life for themselves, but that woman would save half a chicken wing to eat for later

Had a friend in college that would bring empty 2 liter coke bottles to the dining halls and fill them up at the drink machine.

When i was in college if a book was over 100 bucks i would go to the library photocopy the whole book then put it in a binder. Usually cost me about 30 bucks to copy a book. Would then return the book the next day for a full refund. You had like 3 days to return it refund. This was around 2000 before you could get the book online as a pdf. Yeah i could have sold back the book back, to bookstore ,at end of semester but they usually said we're not buying this book back at the end of the semester. I was a broke student every penny helped.

That's not just cheap - that's disturbing.
