The amount of appealable issues in this case is wild. Nelson has a really strong chance...absent outside forces.

This is where the media, twitter, progs, dems go REEEEEEEE you can't post pictures of jurors and talk about them when they know damn well they would have doxxed every single one of them if the verdict was not guilty.

Another one to add to the 3147 other appellate issues.

I imagine the jury pool was larger than normal for this dog and pony show.

They supposedly combed each prospective juror's social media posts as part of clearing them for serving on that jury. Well, evidently they didn't do that great of a job.

Any juror from Minneapolis was compromised before the trial started.

If you had to decide a verdict based on whether or not the City you live in, work in, or have family in burns to ground, could you be impartial?

Don’t answer that. It is rhetorical.

Chauvin is going to win on appeal

Maybe, but the higher courts in Minnesota will probably opt to avoid further "peaceful protests" and uphold the jury verdict.

Everyone saying he is going to win on appeal...what judge do you think is willing to make themselves a target by accepting the review and then an even bigger target by overturning?

Depends on what it is. When you're a witness in a criminal case perjury blows up everything the system is based on.

If the government is out fishing to get you then yeah frick em.

If it wasnt real life, this trial would be a comedy movie. AMS could be a movie star.

reach harder to defend your convicted murderer hero. this seems like a nothingburger.

quote:

The first question asked, "Did you, or someone close to you, participate in any of the demonstrations or marches against police brutality that took place in Minneapolis after George Floyd's death?"

The second one asked, "Other than what you have already described above, have you, or anyone close to you, participated in protests about police use of force or police brutality?"

he went to march in Washington DC (not minneapolis) for MLK day and wore a shirt you don't like. I would say a march on MLK day is fundamentally a celebration not a protest.

The defense should have had clerks, interns, runners, everyone available searching social media on these people. I don't see how they missed this
