George Floyd wasn't a hero. He wasn't a good guy. He wasn't a role model.

But he didn't deserve to die at the hands of people we pay to protect us. Police are not judges, juries nor executioners. They're public servants, not warriors, who need to chill the frick out.

The only sad thing about this is the POS who murdered Daniel Shaver is still free and getting paid a pension.

Absolutely. Murderers belong in prison, it's that simple.

Don't have high blood pressure, large amounts of drugs in your system, resist arrest, and say that you can't breathe multiple times prior to being physically restrained and you too could be alive today.

Look I break it down to this... if George Floyd was not touched, would he have died on the street from an overdose?

My answer: no

Is it second degree murder?

I don’t think so, probably just manslaughter. Chauvin took one for the SJW’s with the murder conviction. But he should’ve done time either way.

Number 1, the fentanyl killed the criminal.

Number 2, if you’re counting on the cops to protect you then you’ve already lost.

He deserves to be convicted of manslaughter. So no, he got much more than he deserves.

You're correct.

However, the reactionary morons on the OT don't care.

LOL at comparing that to this. It was much worse.

There’s a reason most people reading your post won’t even know who Daniel Shaver is. You probably know the reason.

Agreed.

not warriors, who need to chill the frick out.

Overwhelmingly agreed.

But two wrongs does not make a right.

POS OD'd. Chauvin deserves to be fired for being an unruly twat. The end.

Can you expand on the chill the frick out part? In your vast experience in the field as well as expert opinion, what should cops do? I dont think you have a firm grasp on what you're proposing.

The law sees cops as the same as citizens. If your kid was out making a fool, high on drugs, and was caught using counterfeit by a store clerk, and that store clerk decided to apprehend your kid and sit on him like Chauvin sat on GF for 9 minutes, and your kid died in that process, I think most people would feel like the store clerk was at least negligent in how they handled it.

Considering the drugs in his system, if Chauvin called in sick that day, does George Floyd still die? I'm curious to hear your opinion.

I thought so too. He might have been a dick head cop on a power trip but I don’t think he intended to kill Floyd.

Honestly, this is probably the best logic that I have seen on the issue.

When the cops ask you to get in the car, just get in the car. Newsflash, resisting the police doesn’t end well, no matter your race
