Imagine for a moment that a black man in Alabama was on trial for murdering a white man and he claimed it was self-defense. Imagine this case occurred in an area where white nationalist mobs had burned towns and businesses. Imagine that right-wing politicians and groups like the Proud Boys had voiced threats about violence if the right verdict wasn't reached. Imagine if there wasn't a change of venue for the trial. Imagine if the jury got to go home every night and watch Fox News coverage of the trial. Imagine if Trump weighed in on the trial before the verdict. The soy brigade's view would be 180° from where it is now.

chauvin earned each and every one of his charges (now convictions). I have been saying this since June. But your reasonable stance will get you downvoted to oblivion.

many zealot bootlickers around these parts still white knighting for a convicted felon that they truly believed in.

melt. turns out the verdict is in, guilty on all 3 counts. sorry that you waited so long for a verdict so emotionally upsetting to you, and that you had to see me again to remind you about it.

Mob rule?
Tainted justice?

The only thing he should have been convicted of is manslaughter.

Chauvin was a sacrificial lamb to calm the woke mob, which you are a part of.

Another observation that settles everything.

Then we shouldn't have cops. It's in their fricking motto.

because he would not have had to swallow all his drugs

better than even odds he would be dead by now from something

The answer is yes, because he ate all his drugs when the cops got to him. There is no scenario where he doesn't interact with cops at all. He would not have survived regardless.

I’m not sure you understand what the job of a police officer is.

I know. Chauvin was so unlucky to happen to put his knee on the neck of a guy who was on his last legs. Doubly so that it was caught on camera. It's such a tragedy.
