I’m not a doctor but I’d be completely amazed if anyone survived that, even if they were already in a hospital.

I'm sure there was a medical tent or something similar. The fastest way to the hospital is the nearest vehicle and a police escort. Waiting for an ambulance to pull through that crowd or trying to run through that crowd with him to an ambulance would've lost a lot of time.

He was targeted rather than them because being white had nothing to do with it.
