We’ve been waiting for the media to pick this up. That’s because False River needs some exposure on boat safety and courtesy. Again, I’ve never seen it like this before. Most of the people on the river this summer are assholes. It’s been a shite show…

No doubt this guy was tanked. Probably a decent enough guy and cared enough to get the kids help, but knew he needed to get the hell away from that accident ASAP.

The gold standard, Unfiltered with Kiran, ran a story about it on her social media yesterday.

A less credible, but highly visible WBRZ, just also ran in it and interviewed the Sheriff in Pointe Coupee at 5pm.

No clue what WAFB has done. They signed their own death certificate when they choose to stand with SWB. No one watches that network. No one.

Supposedly when he bailed some people on nearby piers and boats were able to tell the Sheriff's Office what the boat looked like. They were able to track it down, found the boat tied to a dock, and ran the registration is what I've heard. The Sheriff had the chopper out and everything looking

Pointe Coupee Parish has a chopper?

Is it to monitor all of that rush hour traffic in New Roads?

So, he left his boat there and drove home? I’d like to hear the explanation for that.

Oh well say no more, he's Louisiana royalty and morally and should be above the laws of the common folk

A lot of people should be furious if no charges are filed.

It’s not what you know, it’s what you can prove.

Witnesses say he left the people he was pulling on his tube at the scene and others on a jet ski who stopped brought those people back where he tied his boat up. They were able to tell the police where the boat was. Someone on another board looked his name up on the parish property tax website and said someone by the same name owns in the area they found the boat…so we are guessing he’s an owner on the river.

IIRC, they used to own two military surplus Huey's that were reworked. One was for parts. The other was for law enforcement.

A lot of rural parishes bought old choppers with "war on drugs" money 20-30 years back.
