The world has lost it's mind legitimizing mental illness as normal. PC is out of control.

Where and when is this commercial running? Is it just at transgender clinics or something? Or are the rest of us supposed to be "inspired" by it? I never understood the need for a company to please a tiny demographic while alienating a much larger portion of their clients.

People with a hairy scrotum are competing as women and winning women-only events... Society is accepting that not only as normal but as natural. And you are asking what’s scary about that? You, my friend, are the answer to your own question.
Yeah I’ve seen a few articles posted on TD talking about that. Have I ever heard it happen near me? No. Have I ever seen it happen personally? No. Has it ever affected my life in the slightest way possible? No. And now I’m the scary part because I don’t bitch on the internet about it or boycott a razor I don’t use?

It’s happened a few times and now the damn sky is falling.

Let me ask you a question, my friend, what have you done to combat this plague on society?

They assume that the main base will continue to purchase their product due to familiarity. I have no idea on how well that assumption is working out.

I don't think they're alienating a large portion of clients. I think the majority of people will see the ad and will either think it's a good thing or will shrug it off. Gillette wins from a PR perspective while only a small portion of people get pissed about something pretty insignificant.

This is the same place that rips down people for getting triggered over dumb shite, right? Like a razor commercial with a transgender person in it? That’s getting you woke?

The OT has turned into the place it made fun of for years. Boycott Gillette bc of a commercial you little snowflake. I’ll use them bc they make a great razor.

Yea that’s all cool and stuff, but it still boils down to you getting your jimmies rustled over something you could easily ignore.

Gilette is owned by Proctor & Gamble. You'd have to boycott all of their products for them to give a shite. You'd probably need to carry a list around with you to avoid giving them any of your money. And that seems like an awful lot of effort because of a commercial.

yeah. Gillette is a brand of P&G, so good luck with the boycott since P&G owns a ton of stuff...

Me either.

Too bad the transsexuals aren't down with that philosophy.

And to argue that they are is a gotdamn lie, and you know it: They can cut their dick off if they want to- I don't care and I don't care if others support it- but I certainly won't support it, nor will I celebrate it.

Problem is, that's NOT okay with those that DO support and celebrate it. Anything less than me shouting my support for the dickless while showering them with confetti from the rooftops is unacceptable, and they'd eliminate me from society if they could.

So who's the hypocrite?

I remember a major company boycott that my parents participated in the 70s that made an impact. CSB I know.

Athiests are severely lacking morals. This thread proves it.
