I lived right off the beach growing up, love the water don’t care for the beach, I mean sex on the beach sounds fun, but you better stay on the damn blanket, beach volleyball is fun, frisbee is ok, hanging out on bonfire on beach is great but that’s more the bonfire.

Saw some awesome beaches in Alaska

Muir Beach is where I saw my first surfer

Dinner on Coronado Island and La Jolla were pretty amazing

But I also find Destin has too much traffic and is too crowded for my taste

I usually go more remote just for a few days and do some fishing. just sit out on the beach 1 of the days and not a lot of people around.

I wouldn’t say the beach sucks arse and I wouldn’t call it overrated.

I love a good relaxing beach vacation. That said, don’t want the live on the beach.
