Chances that celebs will actually read a fan letter?

My guess is most of these big shots don't give a rip about their fans and probably have some flunky responding to the letters their real die hard fans write them.
Tried to correspond with Kenny Chesney about some interesting business opportunities and I'm pretty sure what I got back was a stamped signature and boiler plate thank you letter. Totally insincere. Like if you aren't interested just be a man and say it. No need to insult people with fake letters.

Maybe there are some celebs like Jim Morrison of the Doors, who supposedly asked assistants that the most interesting fan letters he received be set aside so he could read them.

I do respect those high-profile people who try their best to commit to reading and responding to fan mail.
However, it's understandable that the volume reaches a certain point where reading and responding would literally be a full-time job.

A band I follow on Facebook just released dates for their tour and I commented about being sad they weren't coming to the Carolinas. They responded back that they hoped to soon. May be a lie but was shocked I got a response.
